Land of the Faerie Cats

A magical, whimsical journey
To a place where dreams flutter and fly
Land of unexpected surprises
Place in the mind of my eye

The queen greets me with a purrrrr
And subjects flit and fly
Welcoming me to this side of the pond
Where imagination is theirs and mine

Land of the Faerie cats
I've come to your shore
You greet me with warmth
And a paw
I'm the luckiest girl, I feel
In the world
And I enter your kingdom with awe!

I started on this piece just after doing "Facing Fears, Guided By Light". [link]
That was my first 'official' photomanipulation and this is my second.

I stared on this one in September of 2005. I can't believe how time has flown! I just hadn't had time to finish it with recording music and doing other things.

So finally, I took some time to finish. The piece is pretty much how I envisioned it, but of course, I am sure it can use some other touches. If you have any comments on how this might be improved, let me know as I'm still learning!

NOTE:
Since it's been forever, I can barely remember who I used resources from. But the following is from the notes I had, so if you recognize something here that's yours, note me and I'll be sure to amend this entry.
