Description
This 1:12 scale miniature is part of a larger backdrop diorama for a local client's office. It's 1:12 scale made of wood and scenic painted to look like weathered stone. The urns are dollhouse scale birdbaths with a wood ball insert and the finial on top was from a thrift store off of a bedpost. The balustrade turnings, cornice, chimney and iron fencing were store bought miniatures, but the windows, patterned mansard shingles, dome and wall surface texture details are entirely scratch built. The flat wall on the left is smooth faux painted & weathered with very thin pencil lines not actual grout lines.
