This is a support column for a fantasy storybook-style miniature Tudor house I'm building. I did a freehand sketch of an archway supported by a column on the corner and at a glance it reminded me of a Rook from a chess set so I went ahead and just built it that way.
This is all wood (and actually kinda heavy), the next step is to grout between the bricks and then put a crumbling stucco type texture over that to imply it's very old.

Now that the woodworking is done, it looks like it could be a really cool chimney up on the roof!
