So who was this kid?" "He came in with the two men. He was about eighteen or so. A little retarded I think. He goofed around a lot and laughed." "Wait here for a minute." Reaching down he picked up his pencil and then walked over to one of the patrol men. They started talking and she tried desperately to hear what they were saying. Occasionally they would both glance over at her which was a reminder that the top button on her blouse broke off when they tied her arms to her waist. Instinctively she tried covering her cleavage.

"Okay got that? Oh and also tell Capt.Adams that we may need forensics here to do a thorough combing of this place." Walking back to her he sat down. "Now, where was I...er...Oh shit!" looking at the girl he apologized: "Sorry!" Turning his head to the remaining officer and holding up the broken pencil he yelled: "Hammond, do you have an extra pencil?" The officer walked over to them. "No pencil sir, but you can use my pocket knife. It's sharp." The girl smiled at the officer as he used the knife to cut the ropes off her. "If it wasn't for this she still be tied up." "Well, like I said earlier," the Detective chided the young man. "you shouldn't have cut the ropes as they are now have become spoiled evidence."

"But sir, I couldn't untie her." "That's enough Officer Hammond! I'll give you this back when I'm done with it." She looked at the Officer as he walked away. "Detective Lawrence." she said as he sharpened the tip of his pencil, "He really couldn't untie me. When he found me l was so hot and tired and he tried to undo the knots but he couldn't" "No matter...he didn't follow the protocol."

"Oh...does the protocol state that I should have been left tied and gagged until..." he cut her off. "No...but, just let's carry on. Now you said the kid took your picture after they put you under the counter, right?" She nodded. "He was the one who took all of the pictures." "Looking quickly up from his note pad Detective Lawrence said with surprise; "Did you just say 'all' of the pictures?"
