Hey, I think that those are absolutely great masks, easily my favorite that I have seen on this website, I was wondering if I too could have permission to get this as a tattoo? I really love em and i don't mind the idea of someone else having an almost identical tattoo just because it looks so great.

Hi there, i was trawling through google looking for inspiration for a new tattoo and came across your image! Actually had to create an account just to post this comment! Firstly i would like to say that it is a brilliant sketch, it seems to have a great sense of emotion and character! Secondly, can I have your permission to tweakand edit it slightly (mainly separate the masks a bit and add to the ribbons) and use it as a tattoo design? Just wanted to make sure I wasnt using your idea without asking!

It's impressive that you pointed that out. That is what I was shooting for when I started this piece. The only reason I never finished it was because I didn't have very good access to reference materials for the memorial ribbon, at the time. Plus, I have a general rule for myself, not to touch up or alter old drawings.

Absolutely! I'm not much of a Star Wars geek, but even I was very unimpressed with the whole updating reworks of the original three movies. It's sorta cheap in a way, I suppose. I find it better to redo the whole piece altogether, that way the new perspective can possibly add a new angle/twist to it.

May I use this as part of a project I'm working on? I'm doing a 3d render of a theatre during a zombie invasion and this is just perfect for my little title page. Of course this would not be sold and you would be credited.

Yeah I have no problem with it as long as you do 2 things for me, one: you already mentioned, give credit. Secondly and more important to me honestly, send me links of pics or what not once finished.
I love seeing how ppl expand the ideas of the drawings, that I've done. Just let me know when you get it all finished.

Yeah, I been working on a lot of different projects. And the time I used to spend on dA, I try to use practicing playing my guitar and banjo.
I got two animations I'm juggling right now. I'm working on an RPG, and modding Doom at the same time. And if the team accepts me, I'll be working on UI and textures for a game called Vega: [link]
I need to learn to focus on one thing at a time. I'm waaay too ADD.

Yeah they didn't really have one at the place i'm going to, but then again it is a technical college. I really should have stuck with it when i went the first time, way back when i was 20-21. I'd be alot better off nowadays. Then again, going to school full time and working full time, at the same time, was killing me.

well the first time i went to college was DeVry of Chicago going for an AA in electronics tech. Now, I'm going to Colorado Technical University for a BA in IT. even though they are more or less in the field of computers, they are totally different. Plus, since its been over 15 yrs since i went, i completely forgot how to do algebra and bombed the entrance test. besides I would rather do it right this time, since the GI Bill will be supporting me for the next 3 yrs.
