Description Β Celes loves 2 things: Showing off her midriff and dancing. So, she signed up for belly-dancing classes. Guess that comes from her genie side

Hi <3 I love the way you drew and color in this piece! <3 I also love how you design her clothing! The amount of colors and blending is very well done!Β
Though I think you should focus on her legs. On her right leg, her thigh appears to be a bit outwards while her leg ended up being a little bit too inwards, and on the second leg, the way you drew and shade it give the illusion that her leg is just pointing to the left instead of being behind (but if that is your intention then great work <3), and since she seem to have a plump body, her arms are a bit too thin basing on the rest of her body and her palm - a bit too small along with her neck being too thin but other than those things, I think you did a great job <33 Keep up the good work! <33Β

Thank you for the comment! I see what you mean with the right leg, but the left leg is pointing leftward. I didn't plan on her being plump, but I will take different elements and proportions into consideration. Thank you for the helpful commentary, and I'll work more on anatomy in the future. Thanks, Rim-Dono!

I love the way you did the colors in this! The dress is evident of this, it's just so sheer and well done it's one of my favorite parts of this picture <3 As for the blue jewels in the jewelry it seems to have given a nice base after all the rainbows. Now there are a few things I dislike about this and that includes the dark shading on top of the bright colors. It's a little dark and I'd suggest trying something that pairs well with her skin tone. Another thing I'm not a big fan of is her facial expression. It seems a liitttle emotionless. What I think you could do is perhaps use a dark purple to shade rather than the black, and perhaps try developing your expressions a little more. Other than that I really enjoyed this picture it's very lively!Β

Thank you for the helpful comment! The colors are a strong attribute in this and I made the blue jewels as a sort of resting place. As for the shading, I admit I could've blended some more subtle colors than that dark shadow. I've been experimenting with different colors for better shading of skin. As for her face, I may have given her a doll face by mistake, making her seem generic. Maybe I should give more wide smiles and expressive eye quality. Thank you for the insight and I'm glad you enjoy her. Thank you and I'll take these elements to heart!

This girl's anatomy is mostly good, although why are her feet both at basically straight-up angles and her breasts a little uneven? Anyway, I think you could put a little more thought into your shading; for example, her right leg (on our left side) isn't really in the darkness since her left leg isn't actually above it, so why is shadow being cast on it? There should probably instead be a curving shadow on her right leg a little lower down, around the knee. Maybe more shading under her hair and casting onto her shoulders as well, and more from her legs onto the cloth? IDK, I'm just nitpicking; for a general drawing for a postcard or something or as a reference image, this looks fine, except that the girl should maybe be in the center.

I see what you mean about the feet and shading. I was still off with certain aspects of the body and the shading was off. Thank you for the useful insight. I'll try to work better with anatomy and get a bit more technical with my shading elements. It's not really nitpicking, just helpful advice^^

I love the shading in this piece! How do you get traditional shading to be as good as that? Plus you drew the hands beautifully, and that is a hard thing to draw! Great job all in all ^^

The shading for me is all about layering quite a bit. I'm glad you noticed the detail in the hands and thank you for the lovely comment

Woah such beautiful colors! This captures belly dancing for sure! (I belly danced a bit myself so I know how it is lol) Also I love how she is a bit more "thick" (normal sized but from a media perception she is plus size and such) because thicker girls can work it too! Great work!Β

Thank you for the lovely comment! Glad you like the colors and how she captures belly dancing. Nothing wrong with a bit of thickness in belly dancing
