Great capture. The black and white image gives quite a different appeal to the usual beach image. I like how you've captured the wave with the perfect amount of focus in the correct places, and how the crest of the wave just seems to glow that little bit.
But I agree with the top poster, it would look great in a wide-screen type shot. Or if you managed to include the beach itself in the image, I guess, from a position further back, maybe?
But wonderful image anyway

This is a very nice image, I really like it a lot but, personally, I would prefer a wider (more wide-screenish) image section. So either I would cut away some of the lower parts in the foreground or (if there is still more picture) leave more of the sides (meaning additional picture that is cut away right now). In a wider format it would look even more dynamic.
