"In the robotic arena of fightin' robots, there is no forgiveness, no surrender, and no quarter. The Plunderer, a robotic combatant entered by the ruthless Skullbeard pirates, is well versed in these principles of the deadly gladiatorial sport. It ruthlessly strikes enemy's down from tactical positions. Whilst it is armed with a flintlock design pistol and a pirates blade, its favourite tactic is to destroy the enemy up close with its dual mounted shoulder cannons. Every victory is notched onto its leg plates, as it continues to rack up the bodies of the robotic dead."

This is a piece I've been working on/off for the past 7 months or so. I finally got to finalising the design and applying a colour scheme, and am pretty happy with the final result.

The Plunderer is a pirate themed robot designed for an arena fighter series I have in the works. I'm hoping to give the other robots a strong theme like the plunderer's since it's worked out fairly well, and I had a lot of fun doing the pirate themed pieces, like the cannons and peg legs. :3
