Did a drawing request for me. I was indecisive about who I wanted. He chose Furnace, which was in the mix for MOCs I would have liked to see him convert.Please Fave and comment on the original Deviation I was so excited to get a request from CBN. His transformations of bionicle things is astounding, he's one of the best at it here on DA. Check out his for proof.

I've never played the borderlands games. All I know of that series is Claptrap(who I wanna MOC). Beyond that, don't know a damn thing. I just know Claptrap is a cool little dude and if I could get the parts he'd be a cool freakin MOC.

I've seen these before. They're system Clappies. I wanna make a bigger fusion style one. The arms and some other elements can be bionicle/HF, but I'm pretty sure to get the shape of claptrap I'm gonna have to use system elements. I've done some research to get some ideas of how things could possibly be done, but once I'm ready to actually make him, I'll have to go over every little detail.

Use the Pneumatics to, so his arms move and look more robotical

Dunno about that man. Pneumatics are a bitch to work with. If you can cram em in big MOCs and cover them up its fine, something like claptrap I don't think would look right. And you gotta realize, with pneumatics there are a couple of mandatory elements. Some kind of pump mechanism, there's the small one for an air compressor and the big one for manual pumping, a switch and then the actuator. The switch and actuator(probably two in this case) might fit, but the large pump I don't think would. Not unless I made a visual sacrifice and had it where its accessible, yet in his back somehow. Looking at a 3D model of claptrap I don't think Pneumatics are going to be a viable option. Not unless I wanna make him huge, which I don't.

And I thank you for it, but for the size I'm thinking of working at, it won't fit. If I went really big maybe. But that'd make the whole rest of the MOC more costly to achieve. Though a big ass claptrap MOC still would be badass.
