I've actually always thought of darkness being more powerful than darkness. Just look at the black hole for example, nothing can escape it, not even light. And the only reason it allows light to win is because one can not exist without the other and the fact that they are brothers.

There was a tale I once heard from my grandparents about two brothers who actions were very similar but their motives were far off. One was named Light and the other Dark. As the galaxies grew around them, they each wanted their fair share. But then they started to fight and neither had made it. What was left of them took hold on everything it could grab. The light had grabbed more and therefore became stronger. But the dark knew if it stayed together, it would be stronger. I personally believe this and that we each have some dark and light in us. Some a little more than others.

not bad, it has a kind of way of saying the most unknown fact about light and dark: light and dark are brothers, one can't survive without the other, and that darkness is not evil, but the people that use it are (if they are using it for eil, that is)

True. The grim reaper does carry a scythe. However, this wasn't supposed to be a representation of the grim reaper

Visually, I'm not sure if I intended on it representing anything. I had just acquired a tablet and drew this. Conceptually, it could mean many things I suppose. What it means to me could be drastically different than your interpretation. Or perhaps it means nothing? Such is art.

I love this to death {excuse the pun xP}. I suggest to stop people from nicking it and trying to sell it, you put a nice watermark on it so that it's less appealing to the thieves but we can still see it. ^__^

A band has already asked me if they could use this in the future. However, I told them that if someone else came along before they had the money that I would sell the rights to them. we are a black metal thrash band that is going indie and recording with way more to come hopefully you like our music so far until its professionally recorded. i will talk to the band and see where we are at for album art but this pic stood out you are very talented
