No waaaay!!! I would've loved it!

At least it wasnt like the time my ma' asked me to draw her a bouqet of flowers, because I never drew anything pretty and happy n all that rot, and I ended up making a large drawing of what she asked, flowers, but the flowers were eating and fighting over people... >.< HAH! Oddly enough, despite the grimaces she still kinda found it endearing, sooo... I;m sure there was some genuine appreciation for what you did for these gifts!

hahahahah! I used to get yelled at by teachers because I would always draw things "evil" or "funny"...

I used to make obnoxious cards for my mom too...I think she found them entertaining. Like a guy picking his nose...or sitting on the toilet...with a "Happy Birthday" over it. i was a weird kid.

Heh heh, yeaaaah... you & me both... weird kid on the block...
Although, I wonder what it would be like to be the normal kid on the block?
You know... a neighborhood overly saturated in weirdness and one normal suburbanite type kid stuck in the middle of it all... Imagine what the school would be like!

How about this one at school?
"Young man! Are you drawing again in MY class? You're not paying attention!!!"
"Yes I am!"
"Oh yeah? then what was I saying?"
"*goes over what the teacher was saying, demonstrating the sufficient capacity of brain cells to be able to doodle/draw AS WELL AS listening and recollecting what someone was saying*"
"*gets angry at being 'shown up'* GO SIT OUTSIDE/ TO THE PRINCIPALS OFFICE!"
"But how am I supposed to pay attention from THERE?"
"GOoooooo!!!"

I was always chastised by teachers for not listening. Then some of them would make an ass out of me in class too.....i still hold grudges!
