Description Here's the finished version of the Chinese Dragon. Typically, I don't stop with just woodburning... I also used Pantone woodstain pens, Sharpie oil-based markers, Prismacolor pencil and I added a string of beads and Chinese coin charms as an accent. It'll be interesting to see how this goes over at ConDFW.

(Hopefully, I can replace this two piece scan with a better photo. )

Actually, I wound up selling this to a person on a Yahoo art group that I'm in. I still have the pencil sketch from it so I plan on doing it again on different wood.

And yes, my kids are horribly jaded having me as a mom. They like watching me to stuff and playing with art supplies but it's their friends that think I'm cool.

Extremely beautiful piece, I love how its not just 'on' the wood, but the shape of the wood fits wonderfully with the dragon. Very intricate
/me is most impressed

*L* It's a little long for a pendant. It's 5 inches wide by 15 inches long.
I actually have an incense burner shaped like a drape. My son gave it to me for Christmas one year.

What she isn't telling ya'll is she fished the wood out of the scrap pile I was planning to throw out. If she is going to turn out stuff like this, I'll have to turn here loose in the shop more often!

Nice work! Better than some of the artwork I've seen at the Largo Ren-fest!

Thanks for sharing, Spike!
