Description
Here's the finished version of the Chinese Dragon. Typically, I don't stop with just woodburning... I also used Pantone woodstain pens, Sharpie oil-based markers, Prismacolor pencil and I added a string of beads and Chinese coin charms as an accent. It'll be interesting to see how this goes over at ConDFW.First version: [link]

Actually, I wound up selling this to a person on a Yahoo art group that I'm in. I still have the pencil sketch from it so I plan on doing it again on different wood.
And yes, my kids are horribly jaded having me as a mom. They like watching me to stuff and playing with art supplies but it's their friends that think I'm cool.

*L* It's a little long for a pendant. It's 5 inches wide by 15 inches long.
I actually have an incense burner shaped like a drape. My son gave it to me for Christmas one year.

Pretty wonderful!! I love Chinese dragons and yours is nicely done. Love the details in it scales!! CanΒ΄t for the opening ceremony of the Olympic Games of Peking. Just imagine the variety of Chinese dancing dragons

What she isn't telling ya'll is she fished the wood out of the scrap pile I was planning to throw out. If she is going to turn out stuff like this, I'll have to turn here loose in the shop more often!
