Description Final product -- I did the colors with wood stain pens and oil-based Sharpies. I think it will make a nice addition to my FenCon panels.

Wow. I cannot say it better than that. I find it difficult enough to work with pencil and paper. How much more difficult must it be to burn wood? Bravo!

the final form! lol, excellent work! i did something similar in wood shop during highschool, only it was a dragon on a bench (and it wasn't nearly as awesome as your feathered serpent god, lol)

That's just gorgeous!
I've got a set of pyrography tools here, but I've just never had the guts to use them. Really must try it, cause I love the results. Such a wonderful artform.
The colours really make this little guy *pop*. I love both versions, but the colours are indeed amazing.
