Description This was a thing I did late last Summer as I was twiddling my thumbs waiting for Simon & Schuster to drop the GO-Flag for the Seekers project. So this is not a "real world" Seekers cover... nor is it really a continuation of my own, original faux series. It was more just a cover study because I itching to get going. Hopefully the real covers I did for Seekers 1 & 2 will get a public roll out soon.

The composition king wins again . Maybe if you changed the title, you could launch another series . Nice work!

I really like the composition on this one. Its great just using a chunk of the back-end of the Huron-I think I would've felt like I had to show the whole ship, or at least most of it. But this approach works excellently well!

I find this image to be both thrilling and mysterious. Especially the "old school" glyph.

Well the "old school" glyph is now the "new school" glyph. This was one of the first transitional pieces.

History repeats
Old Dize is young Dize again
Spring follows winter

Sorry...I fancy myself a haiku-ist.

I wasn't really aware of this project, but now that I am, I am looking forward to it.  It has been quite some time since I have read any new Star Trek novels.

Nice set up and execution with this AA!  I like the blending of "new" 3D imaging with the old school cover set up.

That's the goal of our cover format - to evoke the old Blish covers with a slightly more modern treatment. But we definitely value the retro element.

I agree, it's nice to see are turn to covers that SELL THE STORY!! Go A!

It kinda seems like Trek is one of the last hold out for decent covers. The rest of SF field seems to be devolving into bland NTY Bestseller mainstream fiction style.... ACK!

I can't wait to see the real deal in print. I'm a bit nervous about David Mack, I didn't like Vanguard much (lesbian Vulcans and whatnot). So keep your concepts in an iron grip, go George Lucas if you have to!

Hm... "go George Lucas"? Does that mean alien fart jokes and cute kids saving the day?

No, it means fixing things that don't need to be fixed.  Noooooooo!

Absolutely cannot wait for these books. And more than most Trek novels - no offense to the other cover artists - yours really sell it just as much as the authors.
