well here it is, all finished!i am still not perfectly satisfied as to how it appears in the picture, but it's the best i can do with no scanner.
anyways, it was hard to take a good pic so it's a little too dark on the face and a little too bright on the arm. but whatevs' you get the point.
i am very proud of this

sharpened eraser, kneadable eraser, paper towel, tortillion, my finger - rarely.

erm...i basically just draw alot!
i think i naturally have it in me as well though because drawing has always come kind of naturally.
i suppose i am just lucky in that way

your drawn portrait of Jake Gyllenhaal lifting his glasses over his forehead is absolutely great! I have just a question: Where you found the original pic you used for this drawing? I know that Jake would need to wear very thick glasses - real bottle-bottoms, but he ever wears contacts. I have never seen a pic of him in his glasses. But from close-ups of a high resolution one can see that his contacts have a very high refraction. He must be blind as a bat without them.
