As a child Kris Karl December had very few father figures to look up to besides his Great Grandfather Raphael Valentine December (Batman Arkanjel Zero), but if there was any other man who was worth a close second, it was his Uncle Ernest Lewis December. A good Man beyond compare, few went further than the distance for his family, friends and co-workers down the road of life. He was the man who had everything. But unfortunately this respected man did not seem to be held for a happy fate. One day his wife mysteriously disappeared and his young son turned up dead. Later when Kris was a child his Uncle was stricken with an incurable ailment that stricken and killed almost anyone who contracted it (Other known patient Naomi Zero). In a merciful twist the fire that claimed the lives of the rest of Kris's family also took the life of his life support and bedridden Uncle. OR DID IT?!

Several years later Kris Karl December, now the Batman Arkanjel was forced to seemingly make the ultimate sacrifice to save hundreds of hostage lives from Poison Ivy. He was presumed killed in action, sending his acolyte Crimson Alchemist into a furious rage in which he declared "Of course you realize this means Time War". Several weeks later an unidentified vigilante appeared using the Dark Angel Knights methods against the scum of Gotham. In the moment of an intricate battle the combatant revealed himself to be Kris's dead uncle Ernest. Declaring that his nephew was alive, and that he would fill in his name, he took the shape of his own legacy of the Dark Angel. Upon the original Batman's return, he was assigned by his nephew to the most polluted and desecrated edge of Gotham's territories, the place known as Bludhaven. The Dark Warrior has begun.........

And the legend continues in a different way in the other world........
