Thanks! Just practice, though I did use a pen and compas on the circle inlay of the unicorn.

Nice! Do you ever use any guides for the round parts or lines or do you just build up a steady drag stroke?

I'll use guides to pencil but I pretty much always just freehand the inks. I like that all of the linework seems contiguous. I find that when I mix dead weight lines and brush strokes they clash and take the viewer slightly out of the image. That's just for my work though, there are people who can mix the two really naturally.
