aka austrailian velvet gecko.i haven't posted any animals photos lately so i decided to post this guy. i recently acquired him and two of his friends. these guys are constantly moving so it was a bitch getting a photo but well worth the patience i think

why are they called Velvet? is their skin abnormally soft or something?

this isnt a baby but a juvinile. their skin isnt really transluscent but they get lighter in color at night.. they have a very smooth soft skin. most geckos though you can see the blue over the eyes or well allot of spcies of gecko

these guys are still juviniles so their color should increase as the go into adulthood
