Description
The Mega City Police Force has both human and robot police officers, which Wily attempted to take advantage of by creating Fake Man, a series of counterfeit police bots that would infiltrate the force to bend them to Wily's will. However, the original version malfunctioned and arrested Wily instead, but he managed to fix the programming. More were eventually created and while Wily was unable to have them infiltrate the police force, he was able to use them in the framing of Dr. Light. Wily claimed to Mega Man that it was one of his Fake Men who arrested Light and brought him to Wily, with two Fake Men guarding the captive doctor. However, when Rock went to rescue Light, it turned out to be a robot copy, the same one that Wily used to frame Light. When the replica electrocuted Mega Man, Wily and the two Fake Men escaped prior to the destruction of Wily's fortress. Ever since then, the Fake Men have been used as guards in Wily's forts. However, one went on a rampage in the city alongside a small army of Wily's robots before they were all stopped by Mega Man. Their weapon is called the Revolver Buster, which is able to fire off six shots before having to be reloaded. Despite working for Wily, the Fake Men give a salute to Mega Man on multiple occasions. Whether it’s actually intended as a sign of respect or is due to their programming is unknown.

Fake Man is classified as a Robot Master, but it's likely in the same manner as the Dark Men from Mega Man 4, as both series of robots had weapons that Mega Man can't copy. I gave my version a Baton. This model can also double as the actual police robots that the Fake Men are based on.
