Description
Quan Chi is an Oni and the most powerful sorcerer and necromancer in the Netherrealm. He is a cunning dark magic user who was responsible for resurrecting several people as Revenants/Specters/Wraiths, with only Shinnok able to do so as well. In fact, few are capable of matching his skills in sorcery, with Shao Kahn, Shinnok, and Shang Tsung being among those few. He seeks to conquer not just Earthrealm, but all of reality, and will ally with whoever he needs to in order to do so. However, like most villains of the franchise, he is treacherous and will not hesitate to betray his "allies". After he and Shinnok were defeated, the remaining Revenants (Scorpion, Sub-Zero, and Jax had been restored) were seemingly unable to be restored, though this was disproven by Sindel being restored later on. Aside from necromancy, Quan Chi is capable of creating portals and illusions, and is adept as using his Dao Broadswords in combat.
