P E R S O N A L I T Y
A quiet and reserved individual who can easily be mistaken as cold and detached. Roashon had at one time been called Roa of the Violet Flame.. as the studies in creating a more powerful and unique kind of magic had allowed the flames he conjured to turn a violet shade. Though he was at one time a traveler to pursue his studies in other lands, he now lives in a cozy house tucked away from a small village and surrounded by lush maple trees. It consists of dozens upon dozens of bookshelves crammed full reading material continuously stacked up over eachother and could almost be considered a library on its own. Almost all of his reading material is research on any slightest information on magic and has made it his entire life's work. He's a bit of a packrat and tends to be a bit messy when he's engaged in his studies, normally having to depend on his housekeeper, Quvya, to keep the place from becoming its own junkyard. He's quiet, but not withdrawn... it would be more accurate to describe him as socially awkward.. as when he converses with others, he is normally tired and dozing off, blunt in what he says, and can easily be distracted away from the conversation in an instant. He had been so unfamiliar to socializing that he has actually had to teach himself how to talk with people properly... so when he speaks, he comes off as sounding like he is stoically reading off cue cards.

Though his fire magic is excessively strong, he is considered to be a pacifist at heart and will only use violence in times of utter importance. Unfortunately, his research and practice of magic did not come without a costly price. Due to excessive use, his body is weakened and exhausted, no longer able to do a great distance of traveling. As most of his energy was sapped away, he is especially known for his constantly sleepy personality and infamous for falling asleep anywhere at anytime. (This can especially send people in a panic and lead people to think he is dead when he's found sleeping on the floor by mistake.) Silliness aside, he is aware that his practice of magic would not allow him to live past the age of 30... but he seems unfazed by it. Though awkward in nature, he is also very kind and sincere. Since lately, he has put all of his care and affection towards Quvya.

H I S T O R Y
Roashon grew up with a father and younger brother, whom, to this day, does not seem to have a friendly relationship with. His father was a strong Chimera who wanted his sons to grow up to be strong fighters. While his younger brother seemed to follow in his father's footsteps, Roashon appeared to have developed an interest in something else entirely; magic. Though he was constantly warned of the dangers of using it, he departed from his small family to study it. He traveled from country to country to track down and study individuals with exceptionally strong magic. He began writing down records of his studies and only became more drawn into it as he learned more about it. Eventually he began to experiment with his own magic, perfectly aware of the consequences. However, being too obsessed with his studies, Roashon determined that it would be worth the price.

After spending many years traveling, Roashon began to feel the first signs of exhaustion caused by his studies and personal usage of magic. He decided to return to his home country of Risohli to finally settle down and build his personal library consisting of his life-long study in magic. Though most of his time spent in his home was going over notes and recollecting data to record down in his books, he continued to persist his studies by inviting those who use magic into his home to allow him to observe their abilities, their affects, and the different strain it puts on their bodies. But as time went on, Roashon's body began to weaken and dissipate from all of the spiritual energy that was consumed over time. Tiredness and lethargy was finally beginning to take over him.

Deciding that traveling was no longer a privilege he could take advantage of, Roashon decided to take one last hike through the forests of Risohli. However, to his surprise, he stumbled upon Quvya; a small moon rabbit who was isolated alone in the forest with no real home to return to. Without giving it a second thought, he took her home with him and opened up his house to her... allowing her to decide to stay or leave as she pleased. Though his initial actions of taking her home was to put a roof over her head until she no longer wanted it, it didn't take Roa long to become attached to the small and shy rabbit. This was perhaps the first contact with another person he had in his life that consisted purely of love and care.

A D D I T I O N A L - I N F O

►His appearance is that of a Chimera with goat horns and a lion's tail. He wears a Japanese styled kimono with Celtic-inspired robes over it. His bangs are long and his eyes are always tired-looking with dark circles under them. Owns a cane for long-distance walks.

► Never smiles. But has his own way of expressing when he's happy. Except that if you don't know him that well, you can't really tell the difference between when he's happy and when he's just normal...

► He LOVES animals. Wants to be friends with all of them. Doesn't work out really well then he tries to be friendly with monsters though.

► He borderlines between being a genius and a total moron. You could tell him a joke and he'll either never get it or take it very seriously. And if you tell him an obvious lie and he'll believe you.

R E L A T I O N S H I P S

► Quvya - Roashon's tiny housekeeper and assistant. After sheltering her away from the wilderness, he's grown to have quite the attachment to the girl and was known to constantly spoil her. He basically allows her to run the house as she wishes.
