I was trying a painting technique with this one which helped me do things fast and easy using flats. Worked out pretty good, but there's a little something missing. It's not perfect.Related content

If it needs anything maybe some harder darks to pop it a bit more?

This is awesome... I feel what you mean about something missing. It might be that the dark colours aren't dark enough in the background? It all kinda melds together, but on the other hand it gives a nice slow and flowing feel.

Which Fairy Tale is this? The short man makes it seem like Rumpelstiltskin, but the Dragon, eliminates that suggestion! (nice work BTW).

Love the colors. Makes the image soft and inviting despite the steampunk dragon in the background breathing fire and smoking up the atmosphere. Beautiful contradiction.
