I'm not sure what the IR debate is all about - this is super still life - love the light patterns and overall tones

What I would like is an IR auto-portrait. With just enough IR to see when you're mad!

Your lighting makes is very difficult to tell if there is or not an IR effect. But I've noticed (lol wrong word as you'll see) that in some shots you can tell there is some by the way some details are flattened or exacerbated. It is more a perception that something is slightly off more than anything.
And it is most obvious in things we are used to know as in the skin texture (I wonder why...) and imho, this is what makes some of your shots so exceptional. It magnifies beauty in a very peculiar way. Not hiding defects or anything like that, more like rendering an almost physical feel of the subject. "Tight" or "Back to back" come to mind.

So, thank you again for sharing with us. And don't kill me for the humor! After all, I'm French! Hahahahaha!

The whole and sole reason for this comment was trying to lighten your spirit after the exchange bellow it. So of course, it wasn't very pointed...

What's it doing in infrared if it's not an infrared image?

full spectrum contains enough infrared to categorise it under infrared! several ir-groups have that policy. do you mind?

I just think an IR photo should be mostly infrared light, so shot through a minimum of a deep red (600 nm) red filter, after all a full spectrum image looks almost the same as a standard colour image to the average viewer and could quite easily be replicated by a standard camera and a bit of editing in photoshop.
