*gasp* Is this a 'picture' I am posting? I know it's been a while since the last one, but i felt my other ones were not worthy of submiting
Anyhoo, I finish school in about 2 days and will have about 6 weeks of free time
I suppose I should say something about this pic then.....erm....when i was scanning it, the picture had gone all wrinkly due to my heavy shading, this resulted in the above picture having to be 'ironed' repeatedly to remove the wrinkles (It still didn't get rid of all of them
)....which may result in some light-ish streaks on it

hey, weve seen that you can do dark Pictures. How would you do light ones? like using light tone pencils but not leaving any white patches on the paper :S thats what im trying now

when did you do this?! i have no recollection of you being tucked away in your room. Maybe it was when i was designing my shoes, that wednesday night... >.> so had the urge to finish them. hmmm maybe sibling creativity runs in the same circles... all the same, i likes the big bad shading

I love the whole idea of the darkness and heavy steady armour. Really portraits a evil presence around the figure. What inspiration became of this? I really suck at detail and whatnot, so I'm really excited to see such involvement in the picture, hopefully influence me and my lack of shadin' skills heh.

Inspiration = Lord of the Rings. I have been obsessed with armour ever since i saw that film

The armor looks wonderfully heavy and sturdy. The structure and design are quite beautiful. Each section of the piece blends in well. I also think that the darker look gives it a mystery, power, and majesty. Lovely detailing. I wouldn't want to fight him in combat

Awesome as always. You should try shading lighter for a bit, though--that way people can more easily see the details. ^.^

I was gonig to submit the 'awesome' (in my opinion) lineart first, then I had a spare hour and just shaded it.....I couldn't help myself

I try to shade lightly....but then I just screw it and go all dark with my ΓΌber 4B pencils
