Most of the farms around here are being built by millionnaires, who want a picture perfect scene to show off to their friends. The older, authentic farms look more like a patchwork quilt. They have been passed down through generations, and each one repairs the old and adds something new. Unfortunately, the land values have gone up so high, it's more profitable to sell to developers than to continue growing crops.
