And that is all for chapter 5. Cass can't even deal with this right now.
To confirm, no, Hjuum and Ratoskr did now die, they were boxed. I did actually evolve Ratoskr into a raticate, but they were very time intensive to train and I am super lazy.
The new chapter will start quite late into January, Monday the 28th of January.
For two weeks I will be prepping for and then mountaineering in New Zealand, so clearly I won't be near a computer or my sketch books. Then I want a week after that to grind through some pages and work on le buffer.
In the mean time, I will prep a few filler extras that draw a little on Cass' history and have them auto post. They are quite sketchy because I had the body all sketched out and just needed to quickly finish them before I totally lost interest, haha.

It's upsetting how quickly the team went from being full to almost nothing. So many feels in this chapter. ;A;
Also, after reading hundreds of Nuzlockes, you're surprised when some Pokémon really leave after a death. That was refreshingly reasonable. x)

Oh dear, Cass has such a small team now. I'm quite fond of small teams, though - if you build then slowly, it gives each character plenty of room to grow. I can't blame you for boxing the two normal-types either. You've worked it into the story really well, making it a really significant moment for Cass.
Mountaineering in New Zealand? That sounds like a pretty huge adventure!

Yeah, being down to two pokemon at one point was pretty weird. I did bugger off and grind really hard, but I don't really show that at all in the comics. It's not really story building.
I'm glad you liked the way I boxed them! I wasn't sure how I was going to handle it when I was starting the comic, but this seemed like a very natural way to go with it.
A small but intense adventure, I think, 5ish days in the mountains will be very interesting!
