Listen, the Kanto and Johto game corners are like 95 percent responsible for my aversion to gambling, and the reason I don't blow any money on lottery tickets. I learned at the tender age of eight that the house ALWAYS wins. Especially since in yellow there were not rematches with trainers, so once you fought them all the only income was the elite four (which at the time I didn't realize were available to be fought again). So, aside from payday, you only had so much money.
It is also why whenever I see nuzlockers grabbing game corner prize pokemon, I am ridiculously jealous.

Haha in HG and SS you can get coins pretty easily with voltorb flip. I actually really enjoyed the game it was a fun probability puzzle. I played a shittonne and ended up with enough money to get the dratini (:

I was better at voltorb flip, but still sucked (I was young and stupid).
I didn't say it was a good idea, just that Cass strikes me as the sort to swing when startled. No pun intended.

I can see where you might think that. She'll take a swing out of anger, but being a boxer means her first thing to do when she is startled is check her distance and probably block her head. Β Checking her distance here is coupled with slipping and falling onto her butt because those rocks are totally not OHS friendly.
