I'll start by saying that I originally intended to do much more with this pic, but I'm so happy with how well it came out that I'm sharing it early. And you, all my peeps at DA, get the first look! I tried a few new tricks in this one. I hope it makes a big difference, especially the reflective metal thing I tried here.

So yeah, meet Abbott. He forgot to put on pants today. I always told myself I wanted to make a rabbit character but for some reason it took me until this past November to actually draw one. Originally the sketch was going to be my own custom idea for the White Rabbit from a post-apocalyptic version of Alice in Wonderland, but I really liked the way the character came out. So much so in fact that I immediately started coming up with a background story and personality traits. Also, his shape and build were originally drawn for a larger head, but I realized his head was too big after scanning the drawing. He turned out bulkier than I originally intended after resizing his head, but I think I like it that way.

Abbott is actually the main character of his own separate storyline. More details on that later. Also there's going to be a clothed version later, once I finish coloring and shading them anyway. Since I've already typed WAY too much for now, I'll bore you guys with more factoids on him later.
