Accomplishments

Personality/Nature
Scolly is a very unique Scolipede. Unlike most other Scolipede, who are naturally aggressive, Scolly is naturally sweet and kind. She enjoys interacting with others, loves to make friends, and will do everything in her power to make each day a happy one. She's also very keen on helping those who ask. Weather helping to teach other pets how to behave, digging small ponds, learning how to fish, or even just being there, Scolly will never turn down a request.

If a Pokemon becomes frightened when around her, she'll try her best to make it so she's not as threatening looking. Weather it be staying away, or even lowering down onto her stomach, she'll try whatever she has to in order to make the other Pokemon less afraid. If she goes too far with her efforts, she'll back away.

There is very little aggression in her, only showing twice (both times when Coin was being threatened). What's interesting though is that even when her aggressive side came out, her nature to attack has only been seen once (when she rammed her head into the cliff wall after Sighard the Aerodactyl). Coin wonders if her aggression is triggered by Pokemon that are naturally larger in size and are giving off threatening vibes towards him. The second time she showed her aggression was towards Ivan the Alakazam while in the arena. He was yelling at Coin for reasons she didn't understand. Instead of attacking him, she just hissed and stamped her foot. Another interesting fact that has Coin thinking is that both times, he was scared out of his mind. He wonders if his being that frightened is why she became aggressive, like a provoker or something.

But aside from that, she's incredibly sweet and greets every single Pokemon, and human, with a happy chirp.

;D Just don't go threatening Coin, or her (especially if you're as big as Sighard+).

How Coin Found Her
More like, how she found Coin.

Walking home from dinner at Richter's house, Coin found himself being stalked by a fully grown, eight foot tall, Scolipede. He didn't know why, but it freaked him out. He tried to get away, but the Scolipede wouldn't be avoided.

Eventually Coin was trapped by the cliff wall, and when Sighard took the chance to scare him, the Scolipede reacted and tried to protect Coin. Turned out... not only was this bug a girl, but she had a crush on Coin! It was easy to tell because she blushed when around him. Coin tried to get her to leave, but she wouldn't have it and stayed with him.

She hasn't shown her crush on him for a while (meaning she hasn't blushed), but Coin still feels she loves him.

Her Job as Coin's Partner
Scolly isn't just Coin's partner (she's not a pet in Coin's eyes - she's more then that [but not a friend either]), she's almost like his mentor and protector.
Mentor
Coin has a huge fear of larger Pokemon because of his past. Scolly however can get along with larger Pokemon no problem. She'll often push Coin into conversations with the other residents, big and small, as well as try to give him a reassuring nudge when he becomes restricted.
She also gets him to willingly join other groups and be more social, something he's not good at because of how secluded his life used to be. He's even gone to her a few times with questions he couldn't answer in hopes of getting what he sought from her.

Protector
Aside from being protective against threatening Pokemon (*see aggression in her personality/nature section*), she watches over Coin like a mother would a child. She never leaves his side and often worries for him if he's in a bad mood, is upset, or even scared.
At one point Coin got so underweight you could see his ribcage outlined in his fur. She worried for him and gathered fruit from trees, knowing from the time she spent with him that he hadn't thought of doing that. She even had Coin teach her how to fish so she could catch him food in case something were to prevent him from doing such.
She'll wrap her head around him when he's sad, sleep curled up with him at night so he's not alone (except in winter), and even stay patient with him if he's being difficult.

It could be a maternal instinct, but we'll never know for sure just why she acts sort of motherly towards Coin.

*Scarf: fall-winter : Originally given to Coin by Olivia the Purugly during his second day in Pokette. Coin gave it to Scolly to keep warm with in the colder winds... or at least... attempt to keep warm with.

Scolly NEVER says her name. Instead she makes a series of sounds to express herself:
