never tried it - though i did try squid once... a bit too rubbery for my liking - but i blame the chef

lol thankyou - i just had a shape with a few of the legs that i made in apophysis and just decided that they could be really fun to do something with - the result was this

I like the bubbles a lot. They really give the underwater effect that allows you to appreciate the octopus more...

thanks -and yeah they are created with one of my fave photoshop brushes- its just a simple ring shape - but i find it idea to add little bubbles and details lie that - so as it take nothing away from the original idea/styles in the pic

You always do a great job with adding enough detail to make something more flushed out, but not so much detail that it distracts.
