I like this from the standpoint of having been considerably involved in origami design in the past. There is a traditional fish model made from paper strips (or even fabric ribbons) but yours is a de-luxe 'Rolls Royce' model

lol i didn't know that ! but then again most of my origami i have attempted usually begins with a square this one just came about from weaving offcuts of paper together the fish shape was an accident at first but i stuck with it as it developed cause it looekd kind of cute -

lol thankyou - it does kind of have this quirky cuteness about it - i'm kidan impressed i pulled it off from just messing round with strips of coloured paper
