I'm using the app on my phone to upload this, let's see how it turns out.Anyway, this is the X to go with my zero. I started this around that time. Looking back at the zero I'm not as pleased as I was, I may go back and do some touch ups. Especially to the lines. So this is my X. I've implemented my favorite parts of each series (mostly a mix of MHX, MMX8, & MMX:CM). I wanted to give him a bit of a commanding look and also give him some sort of insignia this the "X" on his chest plate. At one point I was considering giving him more white kinda like the Command Mission armor but I ultimately decided against it. I'm more satisfied with this X than I am my zero, even though this is a way more simple drawing. I may do some touch ups here n there but this is it for a while.

Not a fan of the X8-style boots but I like the CM armor design with the thickboot style more alright.

yeah I only really liked the feet part of the X8 boots. The thinner boots I was never really a fan of. So I ended up giving him a size closer to the MHX style. Though I will say, some parts are CM but Its not the CM armor, just the colors. I actually love the CM armor! Which is why I gave Zero a bit of an armor upgrade to match it.

I like the slim look myself but not as slim as X8 was and you kept the classic "briefs" which is always a plus in my book.Β An overall great job on him!

Thanks! I tried to make the boots in between, kind of Maverick Hunter X thickness. I Couldn't stand how thick the boots got by X7 but i felt the X8 boots made them look a bit frail.

Its a good balance! I loved when they slimmed them down but not too much, it adds more detail than just those giant boots and hands being offset from the body. Keep up the awesome work!

.. which ultimate armor? in all honesty im only really partial to the first 3 armors.. but if i were, id probably do the one from x6 being that its black like zeros armor.

yeah my ADD was in full effect.. id juggle between this and a guitar cover of reborn mechanics off the 3rd zero soundtrack that ive been working on.. all the while watching justice league XD

Thank you, it took time to decide on what I liked. The zero wasn't too harmed cause I knew what I wanted before I started.. This was a bit more difficult to decide.. I still may modify my zero to match this X more (especially the background)

It seems like you really captured the best of all X's versions, at least to me.
I really dig your Zero design too, especially how his helmet is drawn and his emblem design.(a much clearer Z than before, inspired by the Zero series font[?]) Β

thanks! the emblem is definitely from the zero series, so is the saber. I wanted the helmet to look like a thick one piece thing rather than those thin fins. i also inverted the red and white on zeros buster.Β
as for x, for a while i was considering doing the lines on his limbs and torso, as well as the cheek guards like zero. i feel that zeros legs might be a little bit thick but thats something ill have to weigh before i change

Personally I kind of like the varied leg/boot size on the two of them. Β After all, they didn't have the same creator.Β
