Description Robert Forester was an American actor mostly known for character parts in genre pics. His most notable roles were in "Medium Cool", "Alligator", Delta Force" and "Vigilante". With his career all but finished by the 90's he happened to be sitting in his favorite restaurant when he was handed a script by Quinton Tarantino and asked to read it. The film was "Jackie Brown" which reignited his career and garnered him an Academy Award nomination for his efforts. By most accounts a humble and self deprecating man he was able to infuse his characters with a working class, regular guy demeanor. A running theme in three of his film was the concern the character he was playing( very much like himself) was losing his hair so he had it written into 3 different films, Alligator, Vigilante and Jackie Brown where Max Cheery reveals he's had a hair transplant. Always a welcomed screen presence. Pencil, gouache and Photoshop.
