I used a rather vintage style and some intentionally outdated details in the previous set that got some pretty good reactions. I went all in for this set!Let me know what you think

I love this, as many of these very closely resemble illustrations I've seen in old books I've read (especially that Protoceratops, which brings back nostalgia from a book I have written by Roy Chapman Andrews), while still having their own style with a more "modern" or dynamic look.
Retro as they are, this is really great.

I love outdated versions of dinosaurs but what I'd really love to see is the outdated version re-imagined as a new species and plopped in along side the accurate version.

I'm really liking the harsh shading and simplified lines - very different from your more typical high-detail line work. The dinos themselves (some more than others) remind me of those old Aurora model kits, others of classic stop-motion dinosaur movies. It might be the craggy landscape and moody lighting, but that tyrannosaur is looking an awful lot like Sharptooth to me.

You got it all right on the references! the allosaurus takes a lot of inspiration from Gwangi, the stop motion allosaur. And the Tyrannosaurus from the Sharptooth and Disney's Fantasia and a tiny bit of William Stout's illustration of the beast inΒ Ray Bradbury'sΒ The Sound of Thunder.
