What did you use to find the layout for her in minecraft? Ive been trying to put my own ponies up on my server, but I cant seem to figure out the pixel art layout!!

Firstly, I opened the source image in GIMP and chose the colours I'd use for the palette. There were 3 colours for the tail, 5 for the eyes and cutie mark, and 2 for the coat.
After I had chosen the palette I resized the image to be 180 pixels wide and went over the entire image manually with just those 10 colours.
Once the whole thing was 'pixelated', I modified the wool textures to match the palette and copied the image block for pixel.
