Almost entirely made on photoshop, all I did was sketch over the scanned lines with a line tool, the I could ajust the lines with, straightened out the deformed lines (took a hell of a long time) and then I colored. I tried using a diferent coloring method.Related content

This was the first drawing I did only using vectors, it was very time consuming.

so how do you shade? I just use an opacity of 20% with a brush color set on black and go from there, but too me it looks like you use smudging or somthing.

Well,in my case what I do is pick a darker color and then color it with a low opacity, then I use smudg the colors to mix 'em up.

hmm, personly I can't see the reason of layers only if you mess up at one point you can go back to somthing and change it or throw it without messing up the actule image. But since I save my art to new files every time I do somthing significant, it layers just don't seem necessary to me. (either way I'll learn how to use it in web design later this year)
