Oh wow I thought it looked like a klimt or schiele in terms of the posture, and oh my god the hands > so spindly and awesome gah I love it, and you still retained your own style! It's interesting that you should incorporate lilacs into the flesh and give the figure white hair though, something schiele or klimt didn't do O.o I think they used and red tones to highlight joints and make their figures look uncomfortable and painful to look at, as well as disconcerting in their pose, which you've definitely captured here. And the figures always looks so proud as well, I find, with their showing of their bodies and posture
Mind you, it is titled "Pale", so it only makes sense for the lilac tones. The green in the background is interesting though, as green is nether warm or cold,, but the neutrality does serve to set the figure apart as something pale and cool, in the least. It would be interesting to see a similar figure with red highlights and blemishes on pale skin on a green background for the contrasting colours, or a red toned background on this figure, just to compare and see which one serves the figure to look cool and pale. I don't know. Nice piece though, I liked looking at it
