I love the lighting and the tasteful burning you did for the vignette.

Thanks. No burning though. Combination of old lenses, and happy lighting circumstance.

Very beautiful! I love the highlights picked up in the shirt/dress! And the graffiti! Amazing that the background wasn't blown out and that you got so much definition in the shadows and highlights!

Thank you! Ektar did the heavy lifting here. It's a great film. All I had to do was not screw up.

Well you framed the shot so I still think you're partly responsible for the beauty of it

And I did eyeball the right exposure, so I suppose that's something.

Great shot!
Ektar in an interesting film, the colours are almost pastel.

You’re welcome!
I’m planning to! Just looking at all this snow (here in Montreal) I’m getting impatient!

Yah, we were hoping to get somewhere warm next month, but it looks like we'll be snowbound in chicago for a bit too.

I don’t mind so much the weather as I do the driving... plus freezing my hands when shooting is not my idea of a good time!

I quite like it. Good contrast and saturation, but not unnatural looking, and it holds highlights very well.

I'm very glad that Kodak has released it in 4x5 (too bad they stopped making readyloads).

Nice. I like the the woman walking up the street. She just adds to the photograph. The light coming through the outing is wonderful. Kinda like the woman is going off into a broghter place.

I like this one. Not just because the walking woman is my wife.

I would be interested in a print of this when i get a bit of cash.

Or perhaps a print swap?

Print swaps are always good with me. I will dig through my faves of yours in a bit.

I need to rescan this one anyway, now I have a reason.

I know. I asked the guy with the old Mini if he wouldn't mind moving down the street to be in the picture. But either my spanish was bad, or he was just unwilling.

Ah well. I guess I have to go back now.

I think the way the cars are now, it makes the photo more balanced. Or rather, imbalanced. Which paradoxically keeps my focus balanced.

Thanks!
