BisonTaken in Grand Teton National Park
One of the great "almost extinction" in the world.
Not too long ago, these magnificent beasts filled the great valleys to the horizon, as Lewis and Clark mentioned in their expedition journal.
From hundreds of millions to several hundreds in the late 19th century to several tens of thousands today.
This is a reminder of how nature should be preserved and how fragile it is, and it's our responsabilty to look after it for future generations.

The bison are being protected though by a national preserve, so they have hope, so as long they stay in that preserve.

Just in case knowone awnser your question that awnser is yes. Usually people are not suppose to get close to a bison and keep their distance, but some do and they might cause problems for them.
I heard that bison are strong and they can even run faster then expected, so you don't wat them to get mad at you.
