I think you anime is cool I’m not so fan for anime but I like it.

And to create your own sci-fi style you have to see a lot of futuristic arts so observe it’s pretty important for learn

Some time I do my sketch like a comic style but when I add color I choose realistic style, maybe it works for you, do your sketch like a anime style and try to turn it in to a realistic one.
