Description
Inspired by the fight of Vendes "Duk-Tak" Baenre and Drizzt Do'Urden in the book "Starless Night" Chapter 23. Written by R.A.Salvatore and published by Wizards of the Coast inc.My sketches can be seen here:

(the scene is where Vendes, who has tortured Drizzt for days/weeks, is suddenly faced with her tormentee. Drizzt chases her out away from Cattie Brie and Entreri into an outer chamber. Here they battle to fiecely.
(artist interpritation and liberty is taken with outfitting, character appearence, and weapons)

This is a fabulous rendition of that scene. Drizzt looks awesome here and Vendes is fabulous here as well (though I hated her). Great use of action and awesome details, especially on the lighting and background. As for my thoughts on Twinkle, I gave that sword a rather dramatic end in one of my fanfics ("The Lesser Evil") and Drizzt gets a cooler blade. Twinkle is stupid.

And I of course know the swords. Icingdeath freezes enemies to ice cubes and then I get to smash them with twinkle in Baulders Gate: Dark Alliance and Dark Alliance two!

yea, but how come he never really uses icingdeath to it's full potential in the books?
It's always referred to as , "the other scimitar"
"Twinkle cut high, and it it was a straight blade would have been deflected, but this is what Drizzt expected. He twisted Twinkle downward at the last instant and jabbed forward with the other scimitar."

yes, I always pictured Icingdeath and twinkle as curved arabian esk scimitars... not like the Museaum Replica's versions...they resemble flails or short swords to me.

actually, I wnated them black... but was faced with the issue that on my screen, they would vanish into the background, then I did them up red, and they looked trashy...
so I did grey and then finally pale, pale stone grey...which looks white.

True but thats only if Legolas doesn't scream like a bitch and go hide behind Gimli and get him to do the fighting for him. In which case I think the drow would end up as dwarven firewood

I must say tho, she is dressed most inappropriately for swordfighting, one good slash and her innards are outwards! Nice to know her knees and ankles are protected, tho...
