2013 is already here! Can you believe it? @.@I polled a few months ago asking for the theme of this year's calendar entries I'm doing, and the winner (over 40% of the poll) was Bleach Shinigami Captains and Vice Captains!!!
And in casual clothes! So here is the first month!
January 2013: 1st and 13th Divisions
Since there are 13 Divisions and only 12 months, I doubled up on January. It's snowed a lot at my home, so I feel this scene is justified.
((SPOILERS AHEAD)) Yes, that grave does have Yamamoto's name on it in Japanese. The grave Ukitake is leaning against is Chojiro's. ((END OF SPOILERS))

Right! Some poster on a forum stated an interesting point; that Ukitake really doesn't show his full potential/usefullness until toward the end of an arc...which I think is a bit interesting. I.E. he gives Ichigo the Substitute Badge at the end of the SS arc, foreshadows Yamamoto's death at the end of the Arrancar arc, is revealed to be responsible for Ginjou and Ichigo's powers diminishing due to the badge in the Fullbring arc...etc.

The other thing about this is that you could be planning to go numerically forward or backward and no once can tell which until February, when you either pick one or go out of order altogether.

Well, I thought about doing it numerically, but then I don't want to force myself to do a Division that I don't feel "fits" the month. I have February and March already planned, but the Divisions won't be in order of the months.
