Description Across the nameless hills I called to you
and the wind returned on wings unseen
with a hollow echo as my only answer.

My best friend recently moved across the country, and I miss her terribly.

Gorgeous!  You captured the art so perfectly.  So sorry about your friend moving away and your loneliness.  (even if this was a long while ago)

Captures so damn well the feeling of smallness and loneliness. I'm so possessed by this game right now

This is fantastic, I really love it! Its got such a great tone to it, like the others said there is definitely a lot of emotion present, that sense of distance is captured extremely well. That being said, being separated from your best friend really sucks, I couldn't stand it myself, I hope you're able to see her soon! =]

Thank you so much. All of these comments have really been getting to me. ;w; It really does suck, and I'm trying to distract myself by getting my own future in order and worrying about all that. But at the same time, we've been friends since elementary school, and we're just out of college now, so I can hardly remember a time when we weren't together. I know it's part of life, and it's bound to happen, but it's still really hard.

Aaaaah, totally understand, I just moved back home where my friends are, particularly my best friend who I've also been friends with since elementary school and it was tough being away for awhile. Was only about 6 months but its a long time without the person who you usually spend so much time with. I made sure to stay in contact often, via text/facebook/xbox/etc. Looking forward I think is what helped me with that though, not forgetting that even if they are far off on some mountain somewhere, its not an intangible place, and where they may not be able to hang out and go do things with you at the moment, as long as you actively keep in touch, things should feel ok. Haha sorry for rambling, but I do hope it helps, even if its just alittle =]

I appreciate the feelings and the emotions you've poured into this. The loneliness this wayfarer seems to feel as he gazes over the vast, empty expanse of land before him is beautiful and symbolic to your situation, and this piece speaks very strongly to me.

I hope you get to visit your friend soon. I bet she misses you as much as you miss her, and you still will always have her. She just happens to be farther away than normal (:

I love the mood and the words.. they are written with a lot of emotion..
Its sensible in your work, making it even more beautifull.
I can account to friends over distance, maybe that helps too.
I love it.. for its message and feeling the most, and then for excellent skill. <3
