Description Yo what's goin on people... this piece is currently being worked on. I'm finishing this one up in Illustrator, with my new Cintiq 21UX This cintiq... you should just work on one. It's the greatest tool of all time. Seriously.

Enjoy the pic! I'll post more when I'm done.

Yo, thanks for the comments. I actually got this from work as a gift... but it was used. I think they got it off of ebay, said they paid $1200 for it... It really is one of the best tools I've used.

I used them in school and if I could find one for about that price I would grab it. but it makes the workflow soo much better, well congrats and keep up the good work love the style.

OMG! It's getting amazing!!! I would like to make one question... How do you do the line art? Manually or with the pen tool?

romidion In reply to H8orSaints [2012-05-08 14:29:49 +0000 UTC]

Thanks mane! I do the line art with the pen tool... I have yet to master the brush. I hate how the brush automatically corrects the lines, really annoying. But some people get down with it, maybe it's something I'm not doing right... but ya, pen tool is how I roll!

I see how the lines of your works are perfect, I also use the pen tool and wanted to make sure I'm using the right technique. Thanks a lot you for responding, I love the style and expressions of your characters!

Nice lines! How do you ink? I use the blob tool most of the time. Depends on the job though, most of my experience has been in drawing shapes with the pen tool. Took me way too long to figure out using brushes with custom strokes was just way too hard and imperfect!

What up homie, Pen tool is the tool of choice for me. I agree with you on that brush tool, it's a little difficult to master. I'll play around with it some more to give it a chance, but right now the pen works fine. Been using it for years.

Yo, yeah pen tool is still it for me most of the time. Blob tool is great to for going straight at with no pencils, and gives more of a "free hand" look. Pen tool is best for tight crisp lines like on this piece. Awesome work!

Heh, thanks! Dude, I have YET to see the Avengers. I'm like, ashamed of myself. I should probably have my DA License suspended, and should never be allowed to draw super heroes.

Thank God I didn't tell you about the post-credits scene, huh!? But seriously, what the hell is wrong with you that you haven't seen the Avengers yet, bud!??!

Drop the pencil and take the wife... right now, yep, just drop it and go!
