Description The boots for my Evie Frye Cosplay. Quite happy about how this turned out, since this was my first try to make any kind of boots. I added a zipper and chose not to make them high-heeled. The latter is due to the fact that I can't walk in high-heels whatsoever
These boots are made of pleather, and the different pictures show them in different lights.

Yesterday I tried to make her boots...
it was a big big fail xD
how did you sew the ... ornamention? ... on the boots?
I bought some boots now but I dont know how I can make them look like evies

I taped cloth on the boots, and painted the pattern on the cloth. I cut along the lines to make a reference for the real fabric. I made all the decorative parts separately, and to fasten them I used a combination of glue and hand-sewing

Wow they look really great and accurate. May I ask you how you did them? I'm working on a Evie Cosplay myself and I want to avoid the front seam you normally get from shoe cover

Thank you! ^^ I made the pattern in cottonfabric first, more or less taped many small parts of the fabric onto a boot that fit me well. Then I marked where I wanted the seams, and cut them out to use as models The bottom part was the most challenging. I pinned the fabric to the old boot and then adjusted the pins and made the cut where I could hide it under the decorative straps and decors. Unfortunately I couldn't avoid part of the front seam, the middle part of the boot, in the front. It's not creased though, so it's not something you see if you're not looking for it . The rest of the seam is hidden beneath the U formed decor.
I don't know if I managed to shed some light or not, but feel free to ask me about it if you want more information

Thank you very much So, you have basically different layers for the decors? That actually helps me quite a lot, I didn't think of that. Your WIP pictures have been very helpful in general to me

Jacob kanske inte är speciellt mycket för snygg finess, antar jag. Enligt referensen är hans stövlar ganska så väldigt smutsiga
