I like how you did only black for this! It fits perfectly for Gengar and Shadow Ball! It's a little nostalgic too since Pokemon started off in black, white, and shades of gray! The effects of the Shadow Ball are simple and very effective. Amazing job!

I don't think the imperfect circle hurts this at all. In fact, I feel it helps it, as the imperfection makes it seem like it's still forming, and the smaller circles attached to it reinforce this illusion. Love the picture!
