Description I first noticed Benicio Del Toro in the movie Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas... his character never ceases to amaze me. Have been a fan ever since. I've heard it said how much he and Depp look alike, they could practicly be brothers. I think thats what made Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas such mental candy...that and the hallucinations.
This portrait began over a year ago as a sketch of his smile... and was left in a corner until now. Inspired to finish it I started fresh.
There are many things wrong with it. I do not practice graphing off... it will show.

I think stuff looks too precise with those lines, they take all the artistic flair out of drawing. This pic is definitely evidence that when done properly things look a lot better without the grids. I think if you want things to be precise then just take a photo. But its art so its all subjective. Keep up the good work tho!
