In reality, the Tetsugomo-Ryu was one of the most capable, powerful, and high-priced interrogation and assassination groups’ money could buy. With Kojima's capability, he swiftly rose through the ranks to become one their best men. He was so good that he was constantly bombarded by contracts. Between his sponsors Solex and Drada and his contracts, Kojima has saved himself quite a Bundle over the past few years. He takes contracts only to afford the lifestyle he'd grown accustomed to, using the only real-world skill he seems to have in abundance. He loves competing in the SDL like a true warrior.
