Description
This is an attempt at realistic-ish art in photoshop. First photoshop art that doesn't suck huge dinasaur dick (or at least for now before I get sick of seeing it) because everyone knows how much I totally fail at digital art.haha I feel like she should be looking sad or meloncholy, but I drew her smiling. wtf. Anyway, I still need to learn how to make my art look less watery.

I would really like to encourage you to keep going with this style. It works out quite well. The shading around the eyes and nose is very well done, and I'd like to see more works come from you.

I can always say to use a special way of downloading, but it seems that you are not into that so I'm going to shut up. (I purchased Sai, though. >_>)
Well, for photoshop, you can try using a normal brush at 100% opacity/density and use whatever colors you need to use to shade. Then, you can cut the opacity/density down to half and add some extra colors to the art while using a soft brush.
You can also, after that, use the smudge tool at about... half(?), and get some color blending in there. If your cell shading is really messy and there are a lot of colors, you may want to use the blur and smudge tool, which makes the coloring more soft.
