Sounds like famous last words to me. Not that the whole positive thinking thing is all bad, but the world ain't all flowers and sunshine either. You've got to keep the bad stuff in mind, or you'll end up walking into a dragons nest simply because you didn't want to think about the danger.

You know what I found funny?
In Dragon Age they use to have griffins to ride. But they died.
You find a cult that can raise dragons, and you find a dragon egg. But NOOO, you can't raise it to ride. You break it open to use to forge a weapon. I believe the griffins would've been dangerous too, so there's really no excuse NOT to raise a dragon >
Plus a dragon would be so much more usefull than a single measly weapon.

ive been having a tough time in real life here of late and i finally started telling people to just leave me alone if all they were gonna do was say stupid shit that doesn't help me 'oh itll get better!' haha Totally agree with that. I find myself being a pesimist now a days, just so the conversation isn't all agreeing on how wonderful life is. Especially since my life has been pretty bad lately. Not horrendous, but mildly uncomfortable.

All that "think positive" stuff is all well and good, to a point. But there are lots of problems in life that won't get fixed simply by "thinking positive" or "visualizing your idea outcome". You can "visualize" yourself getting cured of depression, but if you don't do anything else to help yourself do so, you're not going to get any better. You can "think positive" about the mounting bills, but if you don't think up ways to make money to pay them, they're just going to get worse. Some people use "thinking positive" as a way to shut their eyes to their reality, and it's just as unhealthy as spending every day brooding.

And don't let the Sunshine and Butterflies Cruisaiders get ya down, love. If you're out searching for your soul (or someone elses, as I find those to be quite tastey), then no amount of forced positivity is going to change the time, place, and cirumstances of how you get that soul. If you're unhappy, be unhappy; brood and mope and let it get outta your system in the best way you know (ie: doing awesome pieces of artwork like this). I guess the advice is to just let things be as they are. Things will fall into place how they're meant to.

I'm getting pretty frustated in that positive energy too. Mainly because some guys just have to keep saying that when I say I don't want to swim in a huge natural lake because I have a bad feeling all the time when I'm in water... I prefer big ponds, dammit! ;D

The dragon's pose is amazingly natural. One should walk silently there... hush! Don't awake it! It's so beautiful (and harmless!) when it's aslept!!!
